is a specialty spice company based in Wisconsin. It has 70 retail locations around the U.S., one of them located just 10 minutes from Samford's campus. As part of an advertising class, we were to re-brand the company, designing a new logo and packaging for its "Penzeys Basics" spice pack along with a number of advertising projects.
Attempting to appeal to a higher-end demographic with the possibility of working its way into specialty food stores like William Sonoma, I designed the packaging to be simple but beautiful. Paying close attention to details such as foil color was key for this project, making sure the packaging remained practical without conceding design.
